Our Philosophy

Aussie Early Learning strives to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and reach their full potential. All Children have their own needs, they have the drive to explore and be self-confident, self-motivated individuals that are seeking out an understanding of the world around them.

Learning

We understand the importance of learning and are committed to providing a rich learning environment that is built on the children’s current interest and abilities. Our Educators will use the Early Years Learning Framework to guide their curriculum planning, they will ensure that all experiences planned are inclusive, supportive and stimulating.

Children’s voices and ideas are listened to, observed and promoted through all future planning and new learning goals implemented. Intentional teaching allows our educators to introduce inquiry based learning, encouraging children to apply their knowledge and test their capabilities as they engage in new play based learning experiences. Educators will regularly collaborate with families about their child’s developmental process, as we believe that families are the primary educators of their children.

Relationships with children and families

At Aussie Early Learning, we create a welcoming environment that allows all children and their families to feel they can actively collaborate and be a part of the learning environment. Partnerships are built on understanding each other and their expectations, to build these partnerships we will value each other’s opinions, communicate openly and with respect, engage in shared decision making and ensure the needs of the child come first.

Children all belong to their own culture, educators will respect and honour everyone’s culture, traditions, language and lifestyle choices. All children will be provided with opportunity to learn about life differences and similarities and how we all can learn, support and live together in a harmonious world.
